Safety and operational reliability for pneumatic industrial and OTR tyres

Tyre Foam Fill is actually not the right description.

Polyfill is a homogeneous mass with the strength of plastic and the flexibility of rubber.

Polyfill liquid polyurethane is pumped into the tyre through the valve stem, replacing all of the air. Then the tyre is pressurized to its operating pressure by using the urethane. Within 24 to 48 hours, the mixture cures to a synthetic elastomer core that eliminates dangerous and costly tyre flats on industrial and off-the-road (OTR) equipment.

Reduces Costly Downtime

Even in the most hazardous environments, tyres filled with Polyfill will never go flat. Despite cuts and punctures, filled tyres will keep performing - increasing productivity and eliminating costly downtime for field operators.

The patented PU blends are produced by Carlile Polyurethane Inc. and marketed under the TyrFil™ brand.

Smooth, safe and reliable

Fill pressure and flexibility of the PU components based on the specifications of the machine or tyre manufacturer.

Reduces Operating Costs

Polyfill is the optimal solution for hundreds of applications in industries including construction, mining, material handling, equipment rental, ground support equipment and agriculture.

The greatest advantage of Polyfill over solid and solid aperture tyres, is the smoother ride as a result of a substantially lower g-force transmission.

High g-force transmission can cause operator injury and premature wear and tear on equipment components.

Customization

Durometer is used to describe a material’s rating on the hardness scale. Higher numbers on the durometer scale indicate a greater resistance to indentation, and thus harder materials. Lower numbers indicate less resistance and softer materials.

Low Durometer

Polyfill LD-10 Super Flex Tyre pressure to be applied: 1 - 3 bar 15 - 45 psi
With a durometer of 10, this formula has the lowest durometer for MAXIMUM deflection and air-like ride.

Medium Durometer

Polyfill MD-20 Flex Tyre pressure to be applied: 3 - 8 bar 45 - 115 psi
With a durometer of 20, this formula is a general purpose material for use in 90% of tyre fill applications.

High Durometer

Polyfill HD-30 Premium Tyre pressure to be applied: 8 - 12 bar 115 - 175 psi
With a durometer of 30, this formula provides added durability in high load applications. Less tyre deflection and greater heat resistance for longer runs.
